Hi everyone new member. I'm having a problem with my fiat doblo 1.3 multijet it's shutting down power and 3.5 thousand rpm and smokes a little I changed the pressure booster sensor and it's stopped smoking but still shutting down any ideas? Thanks
Allow to drain down, check dipstick. Oil warning light is pressure, not quantity. Warning light usually triggers significantly below the min pressure the engine requires. White smoke is usually poorly atomised fuel, usually only at cold start when glowplugs are not functioning properly. White smoke when warm indicates coolant.
You need a diagnostic program that will do a forced regeneration of the DPF. Engine will need to be warmed up to normal operating temp, then the regen is started. Engine revs to around 2-2500 rpm for up to ten minutes, while the DPF contents are incinerated. Lots of heat produced, so bonnet up is recommended.FIAT Doblo Cargo - is the 1.3 multijet engine a safe engine. Is the 1.3 multijet engine a safe engine if the timing chain snaps. I have a 2007 Doblo Cargo with a snapped chain and would like to know if its worth spending any money looking at a repair. 87ji9t.
