They are both strongest at the 24-40mm range and their edge and center performance are pretty much identical. So what you are saying is they are soft at 70mm, lots of mixed reviews with the F4, some say soft, if that is the case i would plum for the F2.8, its all about risk i guess. -- hide signature --.
